I think Honda is doing something right here. Price both Sedan & SUV similarly and the buyer can choose whichever he likes. Wonderful approach.

They are not priced similarly at all. City is atleast 3-4 lakhs expensive

He says ingress, egress and space are better in the City while sitting inside and showing the Elevate. What a terrible mistake, don't know if editors didn't notice this.
Also, Elevate is priced in the higher side comparatively for every variant especially considering the festive and year end offers going on for City.

Honda should have offered same Pricing & same Feature list according to City Variants in Elevate. .
Would definately be easier for SR & Buyers to Select according to their Personal Requirements.
As it is City is presently offered at ₹80K discount against competition of facelifted Verna & Slavia-Taigun.
Its stupid on Part of Honda to not offer Auto Dimming IRVM & ADAS are from V variant. Also Ventilated Driver Seat in VX & ZX variants.
These features would have definately dent the Sales nos of 3 Cylinder - 1.0 TSI Kushaq-Tiagun & Other 4 Cylinder 1.5 NA Engine offerings in the competition as well.
Anyways Honda is known for its Overall RELIABILITY especially the iVtec Engine's.
Bro that 4 star for city is for previous gen. The new one has 5 star in ASEAN

The premiumness is missing in the interiors of Elevate when it comes to buttons and cost cutting in bonnet as well due to which they are able to give it for a lesser price

Reviewer has not bothered to check the availability of features in equivalent models of both the cars. Honda City is much ahead feature wise. ADAS with V model and 6 airbags with VX model are available in City but in elevate these features are available only in ZX. If you add the discount available in City, it's much cheaper than elevate
Not forget cruise control is also available only in top spec in Elavate. City makes more sense to me.

OK i have an elevate and i can tell you the difference cause my brother has a city . He got 95% everything i have in zx cvt in his city vx cvt , thrs a 1.2 lakh sale going on now so in my opinion vx cvt of city is the most VFM in market now

Don’t think 5th gen city has been crash tested for GNCAP.. the one shown in your video is 4th gen city
It has been crash tested in Asean Ncap and scored 5 stars.
They could have made 6 airbags standard or atleast 4 airbags for vx.
ADAS also they restricted for Zx only in elevate.
City is more value for money but nobody cares

City is Japanese quality product.
And elevate is totally made in India..product with low quality incompare of city.
India made Elevate is being exported to Japan domestic market as H-RV. I don’t think elevate will be a compromised product

This is a comparison between two cars with same platform and engineering underpinnings but are in two different segments….. both have same engine but different in feel to drive….. but end of the day it’s a feud between two brothers in the same family with different approach ! 🙏🤝
